Lavender Solid Perfume Blending Recipe

Here are a few recipes to help you get started.

Hints: You can blend the solid perfumes in any order. Try varying the amount of each solid perfume too e.g. a lot more lemon and a little less amber. Sniff and adjust the blend accordingly. You are in control so experiment and find what feels right to your nose.

Tip: Try blending on paper with cotton buds. Just layer one solid perfume over the other as you would on your skin. This way if you make a scent you don't like, you won't need to wash it off.

INSPIRATION
'You are standing on a beach in the Pacific ocean in the hot sun. You watch large waves gain momentum, rise up until they crash.'

Opens with a high pitched and loud dose of citrus and sea salt. Sharp and bright neroli gives the impression of the dry scorching sun overhead. Sea salt conjures up images of the moving dark blue sea, wild and mysterious. Complex lavender adds texture to the sea, different hues of blue, indigo and turquoise.

INSPIRATION
'A gentleman sits in his favourite winged armchair. He reaches for his mahogany pipe on the table beside him.'

Aromatic lavender in the top note lends its fresh and herbal qualitites to this scent. The lavender note tells us a story of tradition and also of relaxation. Tobacco and leather in the base set the scene of an old library with vintage leather chairs and books.
